Some are organised in the Resort by our own qualified personnel, whilst others are organised in nearby areas and require just a short journey.

Pony Rides

At the FIESE Horse riding Centre, spread over 25 hectares and close to the Resort, children can enjoy pony rides with an instructor in an enchanting olive grove bush. Summer camps for children: these are held from June to September, from 9am to 5pm for one week. Each day children must "look after" the pony assigned to them, with lunch provided on site.

Gallorose Park

Gallorose Park wildlife centre is a farming company which offers children the possibility to visit the farm and its numerous animal species.
The park was in fact established in 2001 for all those who love visiting animals such as parrots, monkeys, wildebeests, zebras, camels, kangaroos and much more, not to mention native species including the Mucca Pisana cow, Cinta Senese pigs, the Monterufoli horse and Somari Amiatini donkeys. There are an impressive 180 different races along a 3 kilometre path.
The wildlife centre also has a restaurant service where you can taste traditional Tuscan dishes, typical of farming culture.

Cavallino Matto (Crazy Little Horse)

This fun park is the largest in Tuscany, rich with rides, games and attractions designed for all ages and in particular for families and children. The park is situated in the large pine forest next to the beach of Marina di Donoratico and is spread over 76,000 m2. It is located just 20 minutes by car from the Poggio all'Agnello Holiday Resort.

Acqua Village

For a fun day in an Aquatic Park with water slides, pools with waves and other attractions, Acqua Village, a large aquatic entertainment park in nearby Cecina, is the perfect solution.

Orti Bottagone WWF Oasis

In the nearby Orti Bottagone WWF Oasis there is a range of activities especially designed for children, with the option to assist in bird ringing lessons with a scientific purpose. Different species of both local and migrant birds live in the Oasis, including the Marsh Harrier, the Black-winged Stilt, the Purple Heron, the White Heron, the Osprey and the Pink Flamingo. In the Orti Bottagone Oasis you have the option of either following the "Nature Trail" or stopping to explore one of the two observatories.

Astronomical Observatory

For adults and children, we also suggest "Observatory Fridays": the sky to the naked eye, the constellations of the summer sky, telescope observations of objects in the sky. On request, day visits can also be organised for observations of the Sun.
