Thanks to its perfect location, the Poggio all’Agnello residence enables you to follow the same centuries-old routes and organise excursions and trips along the wonderful paths that run from the promontory of Piombino across the lands which once belonged to the Etruscans, the Romans and later various medieval city states, before becoming the cradle of the Renaissance.

Poggio All’Agnello is surrounded by lots of paths of varying degrees of difficulty. In this way there is something for everyone, both expert cyclists who are used to demanding routes full of climbs and descents and immersed in nature, and those who are new to mountain biking and simply want to enjoy the panorama and spend an enjoyable afternoon with family or friends. Those who want to challenge themselves and maybe organise some MTB races will therefore be able to do so, perhaps even taking on our very own Poggio Pumptrack trail!

How can I get a Mountain Bike?

Poggio All’Agnello actively collaborates with Tuscany Bike, which hires out mountain bikes and pedal-assisted electric MTB to guests of the residence. If you are just a beginner don’t worry because they will be able to help you choose the best mountain bike for you. At the store it will also be possible to hire out protective equipment and accessories so you can embark on your adventures in total safety. All that’s left for you to do is saddle up and get pedalling!
