A small revolution awaits our guests next season: the name of the game is energy! Green energy, energy in sport and lots of thrills.
Poggio all’Agnello is situated in a unique natural and environmental setting, a stone’s throw from the sea and the hills of Populonia, in an area with a distinctive plant life and an impressive biodiversity. For this reason new trees will be planted in the park as a contribution towards preserving the natural environment thanks to trees’ ability to purify the air, trap and neutralise polluting gases from anthropogenic emissions, while offering a shelter for large quantities of insects, mammals and birds.
This green drive also concerns renewable energies, as next year we will be building a photovoltaic projecting roof that will serve the dual function of providing shade near the reception and contributing to our energy requirements. Aside from reducing CO2 and NOx emissions, our aim is to continue to develop into a green hotel by reducing our environmental impact and becoming self-sufficient in terms of energy.

There were also be new energy in sport. In 2021 we will be doubling our offer of outdoor activities!
We will have four tennis courts and two new five-a-side grass football pitches in the area next to the sports zone. Tennis lovers can also book lessons with an instructor, which are tailored both to beginners and more experienced players.

We will also be doubling our mountain bike offer with the creation of a MTB Skill Area alongside the Poggio Pump Track. The new Skill Area will have a course with different types and levels of artificial obstacles, that reproduce specific situations riders come across on the most demanding trails. Our objective is to complete our offer for riders and attract freestyle enthusiasts who will find our course engaging and thrilling!
