Outdoor sport and zero compromises
Poggio all’Agnello stretches across a vast plot of land, where the open spaces reign supreme. As of last year, the site now boasts a small orchard where guests can relax in the shade of the trees and even sample the fruit directly from the plants. If you dream of playing sport outdoors, Poggio all’Agnello indulges your aspirations with running tracks and cycle paths, both within and outside the confines of the resort. Those who have already stayed here are well-acquainted with the extensive spaces available and the infinite possibilities offered by our immense park.
Our guidelines for a safe holiday
Poggio all’Agnello has taken all WHO directives on board in order to limit the possibility of contagion. This is why we have – with a heavy heart – decided to suspend several services that could potentially pose a personal and collective risk to health. Entertainment services will be suspended for the entire duration of the season, unless otherwise indicated. Our gym, football pitches and volleyball courts will also remain closed indefinitely, while our guests will still be able to use and enjoy the tennis courts. For the time being, it will not be possible to book meeting rooms, but we hope to be able to safely re-open them as soon as possible. Owing to the fact that it is simply not possible to respect the required distancing measures on public transport at the present time, the shuttle service for the Gulf of Baratti has been suspended. Tiemme is working to identify feasible solutions to resolve this problem.
Your apartment awaits you
Before your arrival, all objects that are touched frequently – door and furniture handles, light switches, remote controls and waste collection areas – will be thoroughly sanitised. Bedsheets and linen will be washed at 70°C and hand-sanitising stations will be made available.

Each and every member of staff strictly complies with the basic protection measures recommended by the WHO, such as hand hygiene, social distancing and the constant monitoring of temperatures.

The following is a list of frequently asked questions that we hope will clear up any doubts that you may have.
What will the accommodation be like? Will it be possible to keep my distance from others?
All of our accommodation options have an independent entrance and the only communal spaces on site are those leading to the entrance. For this reason, there are no risks to your health as long as the personal protection measures, which have already been adopted in public spaces, are properly respected.
Will i be able to use the swimming pool?
The water in the swimming pool is treated with chemicals that kill germs and pollutants. You will not need to wear face masks, but those who enter the water will be expected to maintain a safe distance from others.
Despite the vast amount of space available in our pool park, we may have to limit access during particularly busy times.
Is the restaurant service up and running? What about breakfast?
The restaurant service is active and will operate in full respect of social distancing and safety measures to protect our guests – we will subsequently no longer be able to offer our buffet service. If possible, we would appreciate it if you could book beforehand, so as to enable us to best prepare the dining room. Unlike previous seasons, breakfast will now be served al fresco with a limited menu.
Can i hire sports equipment?
Our Tennis Courts will be available, but it will not be possible to hire sports equipment.
The Tuscany Bike tours continue to operate and, if you don’t have your own bike to ride on the excursions, you will be able to hire one locally.
